Proseminar: Computational Pragmatics (Winter 2019/2020)

Time & Location: Mo 12:15 – 13:45 in C7.3 Seminarraum 1.12

Teacher: Dr Volha Petukhova

Suitable for: Bachelor CoLi

We plan to hold the first introduction & planning meeting on the 21st of October where topics and related material (e.g. papers) will be discussed. After two weeks independent work each student (or group) will give a presentation on a selected topic (30 minutes + 10 minutes questions) followed by a practical hands-on exercise. At the end of the course, each student has to prepare a short report (about 10 pages) and hand it for grading.

Grading: 40% based on the talk, 20% based on discussion participation and assignments; 40% based on the report
