Content

Signal processing is required in various disciplines, speech technology and science among them. On the one hand side hardware and implementation issues will be covered in this course. On the other hand algorithms that extract the essential information of a signal will be considered. Specific topics are:

  • Digital Signal Processors
  • Real Time Programming
  • Feature Extraction and Feature Transforms for Speech, Images and Music
  • Noise Suppression and Filtering
  • Linear Discriminant Analysis
